Dear Expectant Parents.

Since the beginning of our marriage, we always talked about adoption being something we were interested in pursuing in the future. We had pictured doing this later in life, but with our infertility struggles, the timeline changed. After so much time spent trying to conceive, we started to feel our hearts pulled in the direction of adoption. We have felt adoption is the right journey for us as we know we have so much love to give. We truly believe that love does not begin or end with DNA, and we are ready to pour our lives into a child where we will always put them first.

We have been married for 6 years. We are high school sweethearts and started dating our sophomore year of high school. We love spending time together and are truly best friends. We have two little chihuahua mixes who are so lovable and gentle. Family is so important to us, and we cannot wait to have children of our own and make those special memories with them. We can’t wait to share our favorite activities with our children! We picture taking them to sporting events, going on family vacations every summer, and cherishing all of life’s little moments. Becoming parents will be our greatest joy. 

Although we cannot fully understand what you are going through, we pray for you to have the strength and guidance to make the best decision for you and your child, following what is in your heart. Whether you ultimately choose adoption or decide to parent, we respect and admire your courage and your love for your child. Our promise to you is that we will tell your child their story, how courageous and selfless you are, and how much you love them. It would be an honor to be a part of both your and your child’s lives. We want you to know you will always be welcomed in our lives and we would look forward to building a relationship that you are comfortable with. We truly thank you for learning about us, and we hope to be able to learn about you as well.
