Hello Expectant Parents,

    We are Adam and Rachel. We are thrilled to begin another adoption journey. Growing our family through adoption has been a dream, adventure, and faith building journey. Although secondary infertility eventually led us to pursue adoption, it’s been an on-going conversation for years! God prepared both of our hearts for this journey in 2018! We are so thankful that He did too! We have seen the beautiful and hard aspects of adoption through Rachel’s adoptive sisters and our own son’s adoption. You and your child will always be loved and cherished, just as we love and cherish our son and his birth mother!

      It seems like almost forever that we have known each other after 18 years of marriage! We met at a College and Career Ministry when we least expected to find a spouse. Adam loves his work as a Radio Frequency Enginee. It really is his dream job! He uses his technical skills in serving in our church’s video recording, and through special events at our daughter’s school. Rachel previously served as a Children’s Ministry Director at our church for twelve years, before our son joined our family, as well as taught Preschool. Although these are great loves of her’s, she is thankful to continue to serve at our church with the children and youth, as well as through currently homeschooling our daughter. We love riding bikes as a family to the local playground, hiking, camping, reading, and serving others together. Although our children have a wide age difference, they really adore each other! We couldn’t be more thrilled for the ways they play and care for one another! Jesus is our firm foundation! We certainly couldn’t have weathered the storms of life without Him! We are here today because He has made a way for us to be with Him. We desire nothing more for our children, than for them to love and serve God!

We admire you deeply for taking such a brave step in caring for your baby, even when it has been beyond difficult at times. We have this same respect and admiration for our son’s birth mother. We assured our son’s birth mother that we would always love her son and care for him. Part of that care is sharing with our son about his birth mother and family. A picture of her is lovingly kept in his room with the words, “Birth Mom: Kind, Loving, Courageous. A person who loves unconditionally. Someone who is loved and greatly admired. A warrior, superwoman.” We would assure you the same; we would always love and care for your child, as well as always tell your child about you. The connection you have with your child is a very important one. We would wish to foster this as much as is possible. We hope that your child could grow up with the gift of knowing they are greatly loved and cherished by their birth family and adoptive family. You are an important part of your child’s life and now our lives. We welcome and love you! Regardless of your decision, we will continue to pray for you and your child.
