Greg & Courtney
Greg and Courtney have been married 10 years and currently have two children.
We have been praying for you and your precious baby and know this is not an easy decision for you. We are amazed at, and encouraged by, your bravery and humbled that God would call us to receive this beautiful gift into our home! Thank you for considering us to be a part of your child’s future family. Our promise to you is that your child will never doubt your deep love for them and that they will never doubt ours. We have been incredibly blessed to have a loving and supportive family and friends who cannot wait to welcome with us this new life. We have both been teachers, have helped out in youth/childrens’ groups and love children of all ages and backgrounds. As God has so greatly cared for and loved us, we care for and love others. Adopting a beautiful child is simply an extension of that.
We were married in 2009 and became parents in 2013. Our interest in adoption started before we were dating. Greg works for a healthcare ministry in the Communications Department. He is a devoted and involved husband and daddy who enjoys teaching classes at church and spending time outdoors, reading, and taking walks with his family. Courtney has been blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. Her day to day life revolves around loving and caring for her family–homeschooling her children, serving on the board at a homeschool group that her children attend, managing a health co-op, and making home-cooked meals. We love hiking at the local state park and exploring nature with our two children, Abraham and Clementine. Abraham is a kind and tender-hearted boy who loves to have fun and teach his little sister how to do new things. Some of his favorite activities include getting together with his cousins (all 11of them!), attending AWANA at our church and being involved with his dad in the boy’s group, Trail Life, where Greg serves as a “trail guide”. He frequently talks about his future baby brother or sister with so much excitement and inquisitiveness. Clementine is a sweet and chatty little sister who likes to mimic everything her big brother does. She is a determined and eager learner who looks to her older brother as her “whole world”. We are family-focused and view raising our children as our first priority and highest calling.
We appreciate you considering us for such an awesome and wonderful responsibility and opportunity! We hope and pray the best for you and your sweet baby, whether we can joyfully welcome him or her into our home, or if God has other plans!
