Expectant Moms

Hello, we are Cory and Abby! We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know our story and learn more about us. Our story began online-- we were both in transitions of life that kept us busy. Abby had just graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and started her dream job, and Cory was working with a great company on the night shift. Funny enough, after connecting online we learned that we lived close to each other and had a lot of mutual connections! Our first date was at a breakfast diner because it was the only time Cory’s work schedule would allow. We talked for hours, and we both knew right away that this was “it”. We dated from April 2016 until we were engaged in November 2018 and married in September 2018. At that time both were advancing our careers, but we had always talked about growing our family through both adoption and biological pregnancy, so we decided we would not try to prevent pregnancy. In October 2020 we started trying to get pregnant, and after two years of infertility treatment and a lot of prayer for wisdom and guidance, we both knew that our journey to parenthood would begin by welcoming a child into our hearts through adoption!
We are a nondenominational, Christian couple who attend and are involved in church regularly. We believe in living a life spent loving others and cherishing the blessings we are given. We are both funny and enjoy spending time with others. You can find us spending most of our time with the ones we love at the lake, at a BBQ, or catching a ball game. We also love to explore new places, and go on our annual vacations! We both are high school graduates. Abby went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing and became a nurse in 2016. She then pursued her master’s degree in nursing and completed that in 2022. She currently works as a nursing professional development practitioner. After high school, Cory worked for the family’s business for a while before being offered a great opportunity in the Steel industry. Outside of his job duties, he also sits on a volunteer and safety committee. We both love our jobs and are blessed that the jobs we have allow for flexibility and support of family life.
We cannot begin to fathom how you are feeling. The loving decision to place a child is not at all an easy one, but we want to thank you for your bravery. We have prayed relentlessly for the gift of parenthood and believe with all of our hearts that this is what we are called in this life to do. We are eager to give a child all of our love and devotion and raise them to be kind and brave people because they will have an abundance of support. We have so many loving and supportive friends and family surrounding us that are ready to embrace, protect, and love a child. If we are so blessed to be chosen, we can promise, without hesitation, that we will devote our entire life to ensuring that your child is safe, loved, and adored. You will always remain a part of their story because your decision would give us life’s greatest joy. We would love nothing more than to give your child opportunities to explore the world around them, to support them as grow into who they are meant to be, and to be the ones to never let them forget what a blessing they are. We would be honored to have you consider us. However, you decide, we want you to know that you and your child are in our hearts, and we are praying for you both.
